caught him live with my sister, kerri, at st. andrews hall in detroit, michigan on march 25th.
great show!
doors opened at 7pm, so ...
... we were there, standing on line just before 5pm.
behind only 4 others.
my sister actually recognized the guy standing at the head of the line.
he had been there since 1pm!
the temperature that day was about the mid to high 30's.
brrrr. cold.
well worth the wait!
once inside we secured our spots just behind the steel barricade, about 4 feet from the stage. proof of that is the photo at the top of the blog. i was able to take this picture of the setlist by raising myself up with one arm, on the steel rail, and snapping a photo, aimed as well as possible, at the paper.
interestingly enough, i was also able to gain possession of this very same setlist after the show. i gave it to Kerri for her collection. maybe next time he comes to town, she will get it signed or something? it's all fun!

not perfect sound, lighting or camerawork.
those imperfections are what make us unique.
we are and should own our imperfections.
