chilling.
not much to say.
that is a good thing for me. ; )
gonna eat some turkey tacos, and ...
... then rehearse with or without pedro.
hopefully, he can make it out at some point.
much better to jam with someone who can really play the drums.
i pretend to.
sometimes there is timing and structure ...
... other times just randomness.
either way ...
... i always smile and enjoy it.
only ...
it rarely fits within the framework of a band.
i like noise.
i like everday sounds.
i like music that incorporates all of this, and ...
... ample imagination.
offering a listening experience.
i didn't know what to write about, but ...
... now i know.
it's john zorn time!!
zorn's music makes me smile.
it is limitless.
it goes places.
to ALL places.
it is energetic, frenetic and copasetic.
Here he is w/Electric Masada, which is made up of:
John Zorn - Alto Sax
Marc Ribot - Guitar
Jamie Saft - Organ
Trevor Dunn - Bass
Kenny Wollesen - Drums
Cyro Baptista - Percussion
